My kindergarten students have very limited life experiences. Living in the desert is a unique but limiting way of life. Many of them have never seen snow, have never seen a flowing river or lake, and have never been more than 50 miles from home. The only knowledge they have of the world is what they see in movies and on TV. Teaching is my chance to bring the world to them.
