We need a light table, sensory noodles, beads, gel water beads, straws and more for sensory play, and ball seats for flexible seating throughout the school day. The items in this project will be used to develop sensory bins, task boxes, and provide sensory seating for my students. These are three areas that are critical for their development. The color changing light table will provide my students the light sensory needed to learn letters and numbers. Some of my students need this light to help them see the letter and numbers. Washable sensory noodles, sand, buttons, gravel, and other items will provide the touch sensory needed in their development. The SensaRock and weighted lap pad will help calm students when they are excited and need to focus. The pencil grips will help my students learn to hold a pencil and write their letters and numbers. The grips will allow students to be independent from the teacher or aide and hold a pencil on their own. All of the items on my list will provide my students will the best learning atmosphere and give them the tools they need to succeed.
