Integrated 3 merges concepts from Algebra 2 with concepts in Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, and Statistics. In my classroom, students gain fundamental knowledge and abilities in handling graphing calculators. Specifically, the TI-84 Plus CE. As of now I do not have a complete class set, but with this project I hope to gain enough so that each of my student in the classroom are able to have one in any given period. This specific edition has a crisp color screen that helps differentiate functions while graphing and holds a rechargeable battery. They are long lasting and durable which makes them a great investment. While I encourage each of my students to purchase their own, I know that can run expensive, even when on sale. Those students planning to take Pre-Calc and Calculus will find that it is a mandatory item for these classes. I would like to provide guidance and offer opportunities to practice using this tool before entering these classes, but I need your help. The TI-84 Plus CE is approved for use on the following exams: PSAT, SAT, and ACT college entrance exams, and AP Exams that allow or require a graphing calculator. It is also approved for use on the IB exam.
