Creating a "New Classroom" Encouraging Independent Thinking!

I am filled with gratitude to you! Because you took time to look at my project and donate to our classroom, it has become a fun, challenging and creative learning environment that encourages independent thinking!!

The boxes arrived 2 days before school started, so I was able to find a special place to put each item so the kiddos would have access to them during a designated time. The little learners had a chance to "get to know their classroom" the first week and loved being able to freely chose what interested them the most. It helped me get to know them individually by observing the activities they chose and watching them hard at work! They spent time counting and sorting with the counters. They were challenged to think about the cause and effect by using the simple machine project. They created friendships by working together to accomplish goals. They were able to see the end result of hard work!
