The Autistic class at GES need technological assistance in the classroom to assist with assignments and learning disabilities. The class has students who are non-verbal, who are auditory and tactile learners. They can utilize tablets in the classroom to complete their News to You and Unique academic programs that are designed for students with special needs. The tablets can assist them during reading assignments, and answering comprehensive questions, and keeping up with current news. Utilizing tablets in the classroom will help the students gain independence by becoming computer savvy and technologically advanced. Our students would benefit greatly with tablets in our classroom.
