The power of choice when selecting a seating option not only empowers students but also helps them get their wiggles out. Wobble chairs, balance balls, and cushions will be available seating options that can help students better focus on tasks, increase engagement in activities, and can also improve core strength. Students in my class will make a smart choice when selecting a seating option. A smart choice will be described and modeled in the classroom. Flexible seating empowers students as they select the best seating option for optimal learning. It gives them ample opportunities to move and get their wiggles out. With these options, I can provide greater opportunities for academic and social growth in the classroom.
