  • Binary Bracelets!

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Binary bracelets was such a fun activity to practice our binary conversions, but also do a fun hands on activity right before the Thanksgiving break. Students were tasked with deciding what color beads they wanted to represent 0s and 1s, and then using ASCII they converted letters to binary.

Students chose their initials, or a friend's name, or even their mom's name to create a binary bracelet for someone to show off their skills!

I also learned a lot about how to implement the activity and cannot wait to do it again next year!”

  • Speed Gates for Flag Football Speedsters

    Funded May 17, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting our girls flag football program. Our athletes were so excited to be focusing on working on improving their speed this season, and specifically their 40 yd dash time for state and national talent camps!

We had many practices when girls asked if we could get another data point on their 40 yd dash, and it was something that they could set a goal for throughout the season. We are so lucky to have donors like you that help us make these special projects happen and give kids like my girls an opportunity they may not have had otherwise.

    Thank you again!”

  • Flag Football Wrist Coach Bands

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

Wrist coach play bands are such an integral part to our flag football program. So many athletes are brand new to the sport and we are able to have almost all of our plays on one band for all of our girls to refer to throughout practices and the games.

Our wristbands were a very important part of our uniform, and your kindness and support made that happen.

Thank you so much for helping our team continue to grow and allowing us to give more and more young women an opportunity to play this amazing sport!”

  • Girls Flag Football Team Equipment and Gear!

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity, we are so excited to use the new equipment in practice and make our warm up shirts to show our team pride. Girls flag football is growing rapidly and it is because of donors like you and donorschoose that we are able to continue to get equipment and grow the sport.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Schwartz

  • First Flag Football Team Pride!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting our team. With this only being our second year of the program, we worked really hard to spread the word about our team, and the sport with our swag. We are so lucky to say that we had a very successful second season, winning the City Championship and the State Championship! We had a lot of support from all of the girls' families and would like to continue to gain support from the students and community. Your donations are helping us do just that, and we cannot wait for next season!”

  • First Girls Flag Football Season!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity and helping us get our program going with much needed equipment. In our 2nd year we worked incredibly hard and won the state championship! Without these donations we would not have been able to have the success that we did. Having enough footballs was so important to be able to have two teams this year, Varsity and JV! Our quarterbacks prefer the Nike footballs and being able to practice with the same type of ball throughout the day and week provides them consistency.

    Thank you again!”

  • Footballs for Flag Girls!

    Funded Jul 25, 2023

The photos attached are from our city championship game where it was raining sideways the entire game. Having leather footballs makes it easier for our center and quarterback to have good snaps and throws, and easier for handoffs to running backs and catches for receivers. We have a lot of rough weather games during the fall season, and these top-notch Wilson footballs make sure that we are not having to worry about the ball, and wiping it down with a towel every play, and instead can focus on our game!”

  • Football Gloves For Fantastic Girls!

    Funded Jul 26, 2023

Thank you so much for helping us to purchase team gloves for this season. Not only are the gloves very good quality and help all players catch the ball whether it's their first time playing or they are veterans, but having team gloves makes us feel like a unit. It's part of the uniform and shows how connected everyone is during every practice and all of our games. We had two teams for the first time this year, and making sure that everyone was equipped to play and get better through the season was really important to us.”

  • Capturing Our Flag Football Season!

    Funded May 11, 2023

We are so grateful to have our LTFF iPad. This season we have used it for taking stats during the game, inputting the stats into MaxPreps, taking photos, and of course taking video footage of our games as well as opposing team games. This allows us to learn from our mistakes and also prepare for our games against different opponents. We also use an app called Playmaker X to create our playbook and we are able to print out the plays on small cards to put into our wrist coaches. The girls also use an app called canva to create graphics to promote our games. Overall, this iPad has been a huge help this season and will be for seasons to come!”

  • Helmets and Flags for Girls Flag Football!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity. Our new helmets are awesome, and I cannot wait to put our school logo on them for next season. The girls found what we think is an unintended feature- a pony tail opening! Soft sided helmets are required for our league, and these are far superior than the helmets we had last season. We are also very thankful for new flag belts, since our whole bag of flags was "misplaced" so now we will have enough, not just for our team, but to be able to host camps at our facilities as well.”
