This year I will be teaching 3 different blocks of reading in 4th Grade; this will include my homeroom students and students from two other 4th grade classrooms. Having these book bins will allow students who are not in my homeroom a place to keep their reading materials handy and ready to go in my classroom. Transition times can cut minutes off of valuable learning time and every minute is vital to student success. This will cut back on transition times and will allow students to come immediately to my room without having to go back to their homerooms first to get their materials.
