I am looking for materials to help my students regulate their emotions. The feeling dolls set will allow them to see and touch an item to help them identify their feelings. The weighted lap mat will allow students to feel calm when they are over stimulated and be helpful during circle time when a student is struggling with sitting still. The fidgets will also be great while students are trying to calm down and get focused on their day and can be used during center time activities as well. Students will be able to use these materials throughout the day to help them feel in control of their emotions. They will be housed in my calming area in my room but used during instruction throughout the day. It will allow my students to be more successful in their daily routine and provide them with an outlet when their emotions get heightened.
