Scholastic News will give my students insight to subjects and experiences that they may not have access to in our community. The reading levels in this magazine will help my students strive to learn new vocabulary words. Real-life connections hold a great value in students' learning. The more conversations and connections we make in the classroom, the more knowledge my students will take with them. The photos in Scholastic News Magazines show real objects. I plan to use the magazines in small groups to enhance student's literacy skills. I will use the magazines during whole group learning time work on vocabulary and writing skills.
