We struggled last year to find a space for each student to keep their materials. Some of my students really need help organizing and keeping their things in more than one space around the room was confusing. They have books, a binder, a whiteboard, journals, and really like to bring some supplies from home. I am asking for ten Staples 3-Drawer plastic storage carts, and I know these carts will help them be more confident learners and feel valued. My class from last year requested a drawer or box of their own and I have seen similar carts work well in other classrooms at my school. We have great flexible seating with tables on wheels and often have students from other classrooms come into our space for learning, so it will be wonderful for my class to feel good about storing and organizing their items.
