My students set goals every quarter in all academic areas. They submit their best example of success in each academic area into their portfolio. I would like to add pictures and video to start creating digital portfolios through still pictures and videos of their process. Almost always the process is more important than the final product. These videos would not only impact my current student’s academic reflection and conceptual understanding but then struggling students could learn from their peers by archiving their videos/stills. Some of our best understanding comes from the leadership of our peers. It also challenges students to use creative arts to inspire others. My students need a camera.
