All students need appropriate resources and services to achieve, especially those with special needs. Flexible seating will allow my students to make their own decisions and take control of their own learning. No one knows a child more than him/herself- they know what they like, what they dislike, and what works best for them. This project that I have chosen for my students will give them the opportunity to learn comfortably, in hopes of strengthening their motivation and engagement. Currently, the classroom that is provided for us next year is filled with rows of wooden desks and plastic chairs. The stability balls and wobble chairs will help many of my students who learn best through movement. The beanbag chairs will allow my students to learn in comfort! I truly believe that the additional seating options will foster a more engaging and motivating learning environment for my students.
