My goal is to provide a comfortable learning environment for my students through flexible seating in my classroom. Students will feel supported and understood when given the choice to their style of learning. Flexible seating provides choice, comfort, collaboration, commitment, movement, and a fun learning environment. A classroom carpet will not only give them an option to chose from but also a place for them to learn in a safe and clean environment. Students need to feel empowered, they need to move, have a sense of community in the classroom. The learning environment of a classroom can have a direct impact of students achievement.
