I am a brand new AP Calculus teacher at a rural, Arizona school. Our current textbooks are several years old and completely falling apart. If you can see beyond the missing covers, rips in the pages, and duct tape then you might be able to complete an assignment! Unfortunately, because of budget cuts and issues with education funding in Arizona, my district has no money for purchasing resources. Taking an AP course is naturally challenging for a high school student, because it is designed as a rigorous college-level class. Not having the resources needed makes the AP course even more challenging. New textbooks would allow my students to have instant access to the content they need to prepare for the end-of-year exam. Help me give these students every chance for success!
