Funded Jul 25, 2024Thank you for donating a subscription to Scholastic News to my classroom for the upcoming school year. Year after year, these are a hit with my second graders! It inspires a love of reading and learning. The content is relevant and offers a great way to review nonfiction features. I LOVE these magazines!
However, the teachers at my school were told the subscription was not going to be renewed due to budget concerns. Thanks to you, my class will continue to have a nice supplement to their Social Studies/Science/Social Development curriculum.
Thank you so much for the support and love you've sent to our class. We truly appreciate it!”

Mrs. McNichols
Keep Us Warm & Cozy
Funded Jan 8, 2024Thank you for your generous gift of supplying our classroom with scarves, hats, and gloves. We will be able to get out into the fresh air safely for winter walks around the school, possible classroom lessons, and outdoor recess. The students can't believe how soft the fleece-lined winter gear is on their skin. They keep rubbing the "fur" on their skin. We will also be able to eat a healthy snack a couple times this year as a treat. Your donation helps promote a positive classroom culture. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!!”

Funded Dec 26, 2023Thank you so much for giving my students STEM activity via Lego sets. The LEGO sets will teach my students to think in three dimensions and improve literacy as they learn to work with instructions. They will not only learn to work individually but also in small groups as they work together to problem-solve through classic folk tales. I am so excited to start working with them in the classroom and incorporate cross-content learning opportunities. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!”

Children's Books for Budding Little Artists
Funded Nov 12, 2022Thank you so much for the addition of the art books to our classroom library. The books have been enjoyed by everyone and will for many years to come.
We are a fine and performing arts school. Educating our youth of current and former artists will hopefully spark their own creativity. Creativity opens the mind and helps our problem-solving skills while fostering mental growth.
They are beautiful books that my students enjoy reading. The books play a key role in their process of building a sense of confidence and educations in the arts. Thank you so much! You are helping make a difference.”

Funded Jul 29, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students have been so fortunate to receive individual headphones. Every child was granted their own pair of headphones for the year. Headphones have become an integral part of education and help escape the noise of a classroom environment. This allows them to complete their online tasks, especially with noise-cancellation technology. I have seen an improvement in their focus. I am looking forward to using these with their animal research projects in a few weeks. It will make their research a much better experience. We are one lucky class! THANK YOU!”

We Need Diverse Books
Funded Oct 21, 2021Thank you so much for the addition of diverse books to our classroom library. The books have been enjoyed by everyone and will for many years to come.
One student told me Curls written by Ruth Forman, was her favorite book. She identified with the character and choose to write a book review on it. It brought me so much joy to see a child so excited to share her thoughts.
They are beautiful books that my students enjoy reading. The books play a key role in their process of building a sense of confidence and belonging. Thank you so much! You are helping make a difference.”

Funded Oct 18, 2021Thank you so much for supplying our room with the necessities to learn and grow. The chart paper was used to chart our thoughts on character feelings. We also used the chart paper to focus on our senses for a Halloween writing project. I have seen an increase in their participation because they want their responses to get posted on the paper for all to see.
The students think the markers are "fun" with their unique scents. They are the only markers they want to use! We are grateful to have people like you to invest in the future of our youth. You have no idea how much this project will improve my students reading and writing.”
