  • Incredible Ink

    Funded Feb 25, 2021

Thank you so much for helping fund this project. My students are going to be so happy. I am going to let them know that I can print more leveled reading books, math games and other individualized work for them. The Pandemic has brought many hardships and I am extremely thankful for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Villagomez

  • Station Organization

    Funded May 5, 2020

My students enjoyed the materials that were funded with this project. Thank you for supporting my students.

My students loved getting the individual bags to out their items in, some students decided to decorate their bag!

The plug for the label maker has help out tremendously. Due to covid-19 many things have changed and I was able to label items for the students.

Unfortunately, the containers where out of stock when my project was funded. I was able to order a mouse which was given to a student due to hers breaking.”

    With gratitude,

  • Math Binders

    Funded Feb 26, 2020

Thank you so much for the binders and other items!

My class was super happy to see the boxes and waited with anticipation until I opened them. We were in the middle of a math lesson. I continued to teach and once I finished we opened them up passed them out and loaded up our work into them. They did amazing setting up their binder; they were all so excited to help set their own binders.

We were able to using them in our station time. When it was time to go to stations students would pick up their binder and get to work on the assignment that was at their level. It was easy to keep all the papers in one area and the students were able to get to work quickly. Students felt empowered by using a binder to help keep them on track.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Villagomez

  • Science Materials for 5th Grade

    Funded Aug 6, 2018

My students were cheering when the boxes were dropped off in the classroom, they could not wait to see all of the items I have told them about. My students could not believe that total strangers were so generous to them and allowed them to get the supplies for the classroom.

We have begun to use the science kits from Lakeshore to explore different science topics. When we were discovering different types of friction, we had so many aha- moments. The students were able to explore density with the Density Blocks kit. They were excited to see what was floating and what was sinking.

We are now moving on to different types of energy and we will begin to use the energy lab kits and the circuits. My students are very grateful for your support.”

    With gratitude,

The science materials will make a difference to my students because they will be able to do hands-on activities that will help them understand how real life science works. I want to to expose my students to labs that will help them understand why the light will turn on, or will not turn on. My students will be moving on to middle school next year and I want them to get the same science experience that their peers will be getting. With the science materials I will be able to lead open investigations which will allow the students to push their thinking further. The bingo games that I am requesting will make learning essential vocabulary more enjoyable and engaging. My goal in asking for the materials is to expose my students to science labs that they will enjoy, recognize and remember once they leave the my classroom.
