Preparing for the New Journey
Funded Jun 22, 2024Thank you for your support in creating a very welcoming learning environment for my students. The plants give the classroom life, color and creates a peaceful learning environment. The fabric and borders beautify the walls and the neon sign that says "You are amazing" reminds students of the great potential they gave to learn and be kind individuals. The trashcans and cleaning wipes has allowed us to maintain a clean and sanitized room where we all feel comfortable and proud to be in. Social Emotional Weighted Teddy Pets
Funded Aug 14, 2024Thank you for making this project a reality! So far I was able to share the plushies with some of my students and they have loved them. The day I received the items, while I was in the office, there was a student with severe autism having a meltdown. I opened the boxes and found one of the plushies and gave him one for emotional support. He hughed it and seemed a little more calmed. I asked for the teacher's name and will be donating a few of the plushies for her students so she can have them as resources in her classroom. Thanks again for making this a possibility!!:)”

Funded Jun 14, 2024Thank you for your continued support with getting much needed items into my classroom. I just got moved to a new building and classroom and it was my mission to make an inviting classroom environment for my students where building positive relationships learning is the main priority. I love the new projector because It wan be used to project different tasks during small group instruction. The white projecting screens are very handy since they can be moved around the classroom as needed. These tools will ensure that the learning is happening and all students can see the content projected on the screens. Thanks again for being a blessing to my students and classroom.”

Materials to Create Personalized Items

Thankful to have all the materials necessary to create beautiful customized items as end ofnthe year gifts for my students. I received items to create customized mugs, shirts and water bottles. In past projects, I was kindly donated various Cricut machines that will help me create all of these items. I also have different color vinyls and the tools that are needed to make all of these items. Thanks again for providing these items and bringing joy to my students through items they will cherish and love.”

We Need Paper and Ink
Funded Jul 23, 2024Thanks for your support with getting these materials into my classroom. I have already started using many reams of paper to print important documents and information for students right now that is the beginning of the year. I have also printed small packages for my three history classes. Printing paper is very vital in the middle school, as I see at least 100 students per day. With the ink and paper I will continue printing student assignments and work to display around the classroom. Thanks again for your support and providing needed materials for my students.”

New Comfortable Classroom
Funded May 22, 2024Thank you for the items that were kindly donated by you towards my classroom. My classroom is 90 percent finalized and it is already looking very comfy and most importantly welcoming for students. The string lights add a nice touch to the classroom walls, they are a nice shade of white that isn't blinding. After setting the tables in an ideal way for learning and small groups, I also included the artificial plants to each table, which really add a nice touch and bring a relaxing vibe to the classroom. Thanks for these beautiful items for our new classroom.”

Funded May 25, 2024I am so excited for my new classroom and the decoration that I have already put in place. The classroom decoration is still a work in progress but it already feels peaceful and welcoming. I know my students are going to love my classroom and will enjoy the time that we spend learning together. The lamps, neon sign and plants bring a peaceful vibe into the classroom. I made a mistake with the pictures in the " Lets Get Organized" project and sent pictures of the hygiene items but since you funded both, it will still make it your way. These items are going to help me organize student work period by period and organize items to have more room in the classroom. The rolling cart has been very handy for moving items around the school during the time I was moving to a new building and classroom. These items are very helping in the classroom. Let's Get Organized!
Funded Jun 8, 2024We have received all of the hygiene products for the students. I am thankful to have these products because I can begin the year by teaching my students about basic hygiene in middle school.Now that students are in middle school, they will have PE every day and they will need these products to refresh throughout the day. All of my students will be receiving individual bags that will contain deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste and body lotion. my female students will know that if they need any sanitary pads that they will be available for them at all times thanks again for making this project possible and for helping me teach my students how to take care of their bodies in the middle school.”

An Apple for Our Classroom

This computer will be of great value in my classroom since it will be used to project lessons, presentations, videos and even in small centers when needed. My students were excited when they saw the conputer arrive and a little jelous since my new group of 6th graders will be the ones to benefit from the new technology.
