These materials will help me prep for flexible literacy centers and freedom to move throughout the classroom. My students will have choices, be able to develop awareness of their physical needs, and develop decision making skills. I hope that these materials will facilitate an organized classroom, where choices are made by students and not just the teacher. Students need to move and experience a variety of settings to stay engaged, especially in kindergarten! We will free our wiggles! We will use the wiggle seats when we are reading to self and when we are getting distracted by our need to move. We will use the carpet for group learning activities! *My school does not provide a carpet for our tiled classroom.
