Thank you for taking the time to learn about our classroom and help us realize our ideal learning space. With your contributions we can: -replace broken furniture -better utilize our space -update obsolete technology -keep classroom temperature comfortable -and ease the transition from remote learning back to being in school A smaller desk would allow me to take up less space in the room and give me more mobility when teaching. Flexible seating allows our students the opportunity to self-direct their learning and classroom experience. Teaching mathematics with good visualization is fundamental to understanding. Updating our technology would allow us to transition seamlessly between models, graphs, notes, and videos. Our building has a rich history in the city of Newark and has produced many inspiring people. However, the building is old and gets very hot in September, May, and June. This heat can make learning and teaching extremely difficult. Quiet fans in the room will keep us more comfortable without causing a distraction. Lastly, our students are a little anxious about returning to school after remote learning. Keeping our classroom clean and having cleaning supplies available to students will help ease concerns about the transition back into the classroom.
