Funded Jan 12, 2024Thank you for your patience. It has been a long awaited and I would like to thank you for your help and providing our students with all of these resources. It has been fun knowing that my students are working towards all these hands-on activities. They enjoy them so much. It was so exciting when our boxes arrived, my emotions were all over the place! I told my students "WE HAVE GLUE STICKS AND NOTEBOOKS"!!!!! :)
Wow, I couldn't help my self and began using them.
Glue sticks and notebooks were very much needed!!! We love to do a lot of cutting and gluing in our classroom, students enjoy hands-on activities, especially using the glue, which they enjoy having sticky fingers :). We see their progress in their notebooks and the excitement of showing their parents the work they do. Smiles brings me joy.
I am always grateful for the time I have been participating and looking for ways to find resources, materials that can be funded for our school and help our students grow throughout this.
You are amazing,”

Funded Dec 25, 2022I appreciate all the help I received from you. My little fishers were highly excited about the new resources. They enjoyed every minute of each activity and were eager to share it with their parents. They told their parents that they went fishing and their parents were mainly looking at them with strange faces and excitement (especially when they thought they were not invited to a field trip), it was funny so I did explain to their parents that they were fishing for letters.
My science for reading was something new to me, but looking through videos and other teachers using it was so much easier. I did tweak a little bit because I do teach a bilingual classroom and most of my students are Spanish speakers, but they enjoyed it so much. Just having them cut, identify, and match letters is what we do in class, and they love showing me what they know.
All of these resources showed me what they have learned from day one and using hands-on activities in the classroom is a good way for students to interact with one another and show their interest in what they liked about it and what excites them. Children enjoy having conversations with one another and I know these hands-on activities will help them so much. I truly appreciate this from the bottom of my heart and from my classroom.
Thank you.”

ABC's in Little Minds Learning
Funded Apr 28, 2022I wanted to greatly appreciate what you did for my class. These supplies provided to me made me recreate so many activities for my students that even they were excited to use them and demonstrate to me what they have learned in class. We used them in different ways such as the letter foams, we used the animals to match the beginning letter sound. As you see in the picture of the animal bucket, we used them for beginning letter sounds, such as "Cow, what letter does it begin with? So they showed me the letter foam and matched the animal with it.
For my next project, I still want to create more centers with them. We need to have a variety of activities so they do not get distracted and lose interest in the activity. We want them to be excited and try different routines on different days. Themes are always of interest to me because we talk about seasons, animals, fairy tales, and other themes that get students excited and want to try out different activities, and to me, this is something they can learn more from each day. Letters and sounds are also crucial for the little ones because this is where they begin to learn to write and learn to read few words. I can't thank you enough and this will be used every day in my learning classroom. My sweet babies have little minds that love to learn.”
