Our class will be a place where EVERYONE can learn, a place centered around student learning. A lot of our time will be based upon small group instruction in reading, writing, and math. Small group instruction is such a vital part of how I plan to help each of my students reach their highest potential. Small group instruction will allow me to provide individualized instruction for each student, as well as a time for students to work alongside peers. In order for small group instruction to be most effective, my class needs a kidney table. This table will allow me to sit within close proximity to each student in the group (4-6 students) and be able to monitor each student's work quickly, while providing feedback and assistance.
