These different seating options will give students the flexibility in choosing where they sit while also building a culture of responsibility and decision making in the classrooms. Taking away the "stuffiness" of a traditional desk filled classroom will allow giving the students a more comfortable and inviting feeling into the classroom. This will give them a safe and warm environment to learn in. Non-traditional seating at its best! These different options will allow for students to sit in comfortable chairs such as bean bags, bungee chairs, and a futon! Other students will have a low table to sit on the floor in reclining stadium seats, while other students, maybe those who cannot sit still, will have the option to stand at a tall table, or sit on a stool. There will also be desks provided for students who prefer a traditional setting.
