My goal is to create an area in my classroom that is completely set apart as a quiet workspace. A place that is designated for learners that want to focus and work individually on assignments. Learners will have multiple seating options such as bean bags, a small patio set and floor pillows. This space will have curtains to separate it from the rest of the classroom. My hope is that these students will find their BEST learning spot so that they can enjoy their classroom environment while also diving deep into content. I had a space similar to this last year that was open to the classroom. I found that learners could not concentrate and often ended up frustrated.
