Desk Bells for Ringing the Brain

One of the most impactful experiences our students from K-8 have had in the last 5 years have been adding instruments to their music class. Music class is helping our younger students to learn the letters of the alphabet, to read words and to understand many of the fundamentals concepts of music. Every class we have a routine and it includes the playing of our recently gifted instruments thanks to you. Students are so enthusiastic at playing these instruments that they have improved in classroom behavior even more that usual, just to be able to get to play the instruments.

One of the greatest rewards for me as a teacher was to observe their little faces light up when they saw the instruments for the first time, I could see that at the moment nothing else but happiness was in their minds and that is worth so much.

Some of the next goals that we have together is to be able to put an instrumental performance where they can all play together and follow music sheet, showing their understanding of the music symbols and their meaning, and translating them into live sound.
