Thank you all so very much for donating to help my classroom. I am so excited to be able to get some interactive games for my students from Teachers Pay Teachers. Without support from parents, friends, family, and colleagues like you I would never be able to do what I do for our kids. Have a great rest of summer!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Snelson

  • Sizzling in ELA with Snelson

    Funded Sep 23, 2019

I can not express my gratitude enough for your generous donations to make this happen for my classroom. The expression on my students face when they saw the new seating for our classroom was priceless. They love sitting in the beanbag chairs and often ask me to lay out the futon so they can stretch out more while they read. I am so excited to be able to give this to my students and it would not be possible without your help. Hopefully, with generous people such as yourselves I will be able to continue to give flexible seating for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Snelson

  • Printing and Writing Oh MY!

    Funded Dec 27, 2019

Thank you so very much for helping me to fund this project. Without your help my students would not be able to print directly in my classroom. My students will be so excited upon their return from winter break. The printing capability will be wonderful for my units coming up. Again thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Snelson

In my classroom we do alot of hands on, student centered, activities. By having these Amazon Fire's in my classroom and being able to use them as QR readers, I will be able to continue doing those activities and at the same time, put more of the learning in the child's hands. QR stands for Quick Response. It is similar to a barcode but can be customized by the teacher and it will hold more data than a typical barcode. Today, we try to teach our children to be self learners and this will help them in that endeavor. The donations in this project will help my students take control of their own learning. By using QR codes, the students will have the answers at their fingertips and be able to get an immediate response; therefore, learning what skills they might need to focus on for further review. By making the students more accountable for their own learning it makes them more invested in their learning and increases their desire and want to gain a better education.
