I will be teaching high school math for the first time this fall. I am excited about getting my first classroom. I want my first year to run smoothly. I want my classroom to be a home away from home for my students. I want them to feel comfortable with me and their peers. Classroom management is going to be an important role in my new classroom. It is important that everyone respects everyone in order to have the best learning environment. I also want to incorporate 21st century teaching. I think it is important for students to learn for the future and apply these skills to everyday tasks.
