Help support Mrs. George's Classroom

Our project is a Kindness Campaign to spread mental health awareness, compassion, acceptance and antibullying. Students will sign up to be a part of this new movement in our new school. They will learn the signs of bullying and how to reach out to those affected, when a situation can be handled by a student or when an adult needs to be involved. They will also learn the value of acceptance and compassion for others. They will be the students to befriend the new students, to sit with the lonely student at lunch, to include everyone on group projects and to promote kindness all around. There has been so much tragedy in our nations schools and we all continue to say "Something must be done." With the start of this campaign, something WILL be done! We are asking for a cricut easy press T-shirt heat press, various shades of heat transfer vinyl and purple shirts in all sizes (our school color) to market our campaign. We are also needing the accessories for the heat press machine to safely transfer our designs and slogans. We want to make our own shirts to include our own students sayings to promote ownership and pride. We are looking for ways to spread the word and the more posters, shirts, hats and signs that we have on our students, the wider our message spreads. The green construction paper will build our kindness tree and the colored paper will send notices around the school and home for more involvement. No One Sits Alone - Spread Kindness and let everyone know there is ALWAYS a friend at your side. Please support our students as we embark on this new journey!
