Using the Zoom Q8 audio and video recording equipment we have chosen will allow us greater access to student performances. One of the only negatives to our current program is the final recorded project. The video is extremely grainy and the sound is so fuzzy (using an iPad to record) that we cannot honestly ask the students to evaluate their performances using it. Self-evaluation is crucial for improvement. Our students want to get better and to see and hear evidence of their hard work. These tools will allow us to view their performances with purpose, as well as share those performances proudly with their families and community.
