• Readers Are Leaders!

  I am so grateful to you for your generosity! Your donation purchased the book that my students specifically requested to read in class. Your support of my classroom will impact my students for the rest of their lives. Many students are not interested in reading, but this book was something they all agreed on. To see them be excited to come to class to read is amazing. The love of reading starts with one good book, and I firmly believe that you have given this through your donation. One of my students told me he hated to read because it was boring, now he is excited to read another chapter and discuss. I cannot describe the joy it brings to see this.”

• Back to the Basics

  You have no idea how much your generous donation has meant to several students in my classroom. We live in a low-socioeconomic area, and I had many students who did not come to class on the first day of school with all of the supplies they needed. Because you chose to help me, I was able to help them. Not one student went without the necessary supplies, and not one student felt left out or embarrassed because they couldn't just grab their folder, notebooks, pencils, and crayons right away and get to work. You are making a difference in this world, and you are appreciated more than you will ever know.”

  I am so grateful for your generosity in helping my students thrive. I have already seen the benefits of being able to purchase resources to help my advanced students receive opportunities to be challenged rather than being bored with the curriculum that my other students are just starting to learn. I have also seen progress with my students who struggle. • Phonics Fun!

  Thank you so much for helping me make phonics fun! Your generosity allowed me to purchase things for the classroom that make learning fun! I was able to make a word wall in the classroom and my students are excited to start adding the words they have learned to it. They also love the writing pages! The students have shown their creativity and knowledge of phonics that they have acquired because of the activities I was able to purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers. • Make Math Amusing!

  Thank you so much for your generosity! The materials you purchased for my class showed up right in the nick of time. I have students with special needs, gifted students, and all of the levels in between. These math manipulatives and other math materials will ensure that I am able to meet their needs and help them make the progress required to move on to the next grade level. • Differentiated Education!

  Your generous donation helped me purchase materials from Teachers Pay Teachers for my 5th grade students for Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.

  For reading, I was able to purchase a unit on the novel Holes by Louis Sachar that was leveled to meet each of my students' needs. They absolutely loved reading the novel, and it gave them the gift of learning to read for enjoyment. I can't tell you how grateful I am for that, as there were several students this year who claimed they hated reading before that!

  In Math, I was able to purchase several resources on fractions, which was something so many of my students were struggling with. After working with them, I was able to get every student in the class to mastery on that specific skill.

  I was also able to purchase a unit on the solar system that was so engaging students started doing research on their own. Thank you for helping make my class a place where learners fall in love with the search for knowledge!”

• There's No Place Like Home!

  After receiving alternative seating options for our classroom, the students have been so excited! They have benefited greatly from having choices on where in the classroom to sit, and they are comfortable. Many of my students and the teachers in our school have commented on how much our classroom feels more like a home than a classroom. Students love coming in every day, I even have fewer absences!
