As a teacher coming from fifth grade to first, I need help building a classroom library that will support all types of learners. Some of the titles like Fancy Nancy and Flat Stanley are ones current first graders said they loved! To meet the needs of my high ELL population of Spanish speakers, I would like to offer books that children can enjoy with their parents who may not speak English. That is why I picked the English and Spanish titles too. Funding this project will definitely get me started on my journey to a literacy rich classroom that celebrates all cultures!
