Flexibility is a must for fifth graders. They thrive when given the opportunity to be managers of their own learning. Learning is optimized when I embrace teaching through facilitating rather than lecturing. Students learn best when they are comfortable. Given a choice between a rigid desk or the floor and a clipboard, the floor wins every time. With so many common core standards to master and a plethora of learning styles and personalities to manage, the learning environment is key. I am looking for help providing flexible seating. Stools, pillows, bean bags, small tables, lap desks.... the possibilities are endless. Can you help?
