My students will be working in small groups to have a book study. We will be working on their reading skills and comprehension. It will also be an opportunity to educate them on social issues like bullying and that it's ok to be different. These books will help make it possible to teach students life and social skills! The students will have an opportunity to look at other people's lives that don't live in a small town. It will enable them to see that kids have the same problems no matter where they come from. These books will be used in my classroom for many years.
