We will form a book club to build an understanding of our nation's history of racism and oppression. It is through conversation, understanding, and action our young people can make a difference. The series March written by John Lewis who lived the experience and who is an avid advocate for change will serve as a way to build not knowledge but more importantly inspire change. We must do better for all people. Once we use the book club to promote an understanding, we will create projects to help make changes in our community.
