I have an extreme wide range of reading levels in Spanish and English in my classroom. I have students that are reading in Spanish and English from kinder grade level to third grade level. Unfortunately, I don't have books at these levels in my classroom library. Having books at different levels, especially at kinder and first reading levels, is a matter of equity for my students. Reading books at their level will make my students feel successful and it will enable them to be better readers. This will also help my students to be excited about reading. My students get very excited when we get new books for our classroom library.
