A class set of Where is the Great Barrier Reef? will allow us to learn more about the ocean habitat and work on reading fluency and comprehension at the same time. My students will be experts on the Great Barrier Reef! Students often have a preconceived notion about non-fiction text, but I hope this book will help them realize that non-fiction can be just as enjoyable to read as a novel. This book is a great informational text! It provides facts in an interesting and exciting way with eye-catching illustrations to hold the reader's interest.
