Old School With a New Twist

I can not begin to thank you for your generosity and kindness. My students were so excited to open the boxes and explore all the new materials! The entire class was overwhelmed by the materials we decided to spend a week learning about generosity and what it means to be generous.

My students have been using the Lego blocks to practice spelling sight words and easily decidable words such as cat, hat, sat ect.. They are so excited that they are using Lego's they don't even realize all the work they are doing! I have a small group who has made huge gains using the letter-sound tablets, its truly incredible. These students went from knowing approximately 5 letters to 20! This is all thanks to the tablets and letter tubs your donations helped purchase!

This project and your generosity has given my students the resources necessary to meet Thier individual needs. It has also given me the opportunity to try new teaching models and practices. Thanks to your help my class is a few steps closer to meeting the high demands set upon them.”
