The majority of my students are from a low socioeconomic area and many of these students do not have the opportunity to leave the area. Additionally, we have a large English Language Learner population. Our school is a small public charter with an enrollment of about 350. With continuing budget cuts, neither our school nor I can afford to purchased this much needed teaching tool. A visual aid such as a U.S. and European map can make learning fun and engaging for my students.
