This project will help me give my students options both when they are working with me and while working around the building with their peers! The products that I have selected, stools, Wobble chairs, portable desk, and multiple types of balls will help my students by giving them additional seating options. This will help them make effective learning choices and provide them the sensory input that they need to be the most successful. The fidgets, are small items that they can carry with them throughout the building to help them when they feel anxious or frustrated. Creating an environment that meets each person’s uniqueness and sensory issues can sometimes be difficult. This is hard to do because seating options are more expensive and harder to purchase. However, I will not stop trying different ways to meet this expectation for my students. I have found that by having options for the students it allows them to move while working and in return allows the students to focus better. I truly believe if their sensory needs are being met then they are more focused to learn.
