The Boomwhackers Complete Upper & Lower Octave Sets Boomwhackers Tuned Percussion Tubes plus Boomwhackers Octavator Caps will allow students to participate in co-curricular activities throughout the school and the city. The music program will directly enhance student learning and educational opportunities by putting boomwhackers into the hands of approximately 400 students in the 2018-‘19 school year alone. At the conclusion of these lessons, students’ educational opportunities will be expanded through a personal learning experience that encourages them to explore, innovate and build upon their musical skills. In addition, they will have a newfound knowledge of multi-cultural values, a deeper understanding of the foundations of music and the critical thinking skills needed to compare and contrast traditional and contemporary styles and musical rhythms.
