Collaboration Station

Thank you so very much for your generous donation. The children and I were thrilled once the tables were set up and being used. I am so grateful for the amount of room they have freed up in my classroom and the ease they provide to incorporate collaborative work.

Shortly after the tables arrived, students took part in a "Book Tasting" in which they "tasted" books to see if they liked them or not. The classroom was set up like a cafe and students rotated through each table to "taste" each book. Having the tables, rather than traditional desks made this activity so much more successful. Now that we have the tables, I plan on regularly incorporating activities like this one.
