  • Reading and Math Are the Key to Success!

    This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generosity. The books and the mobile-cart that you donated have helped my students every single day. We used them daily during silent reading as well as during small groups. Students also have the opportunity to check out books if they like.

    Our school is currently facing a budget crisis, so without your help, my students would have never have had these viral resources. Many students don't get the opportunity to go visit their public library and our own school library is also limited in books that are of interest to them. So having these books in a mobile-cart have truly given them the opportunity to read more.

    Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without many resources that are needed in their daily lives.”

The students coming into my classroom arrive with an array of reading and math abilities. They attend a small urban school which for the past 7 or 8 years has done an amazing job in the CST. They deserve to come into a classroom that offers them plenty of books and materials to keep them focused throughout the year.
