My students are kindergarten through fifth grader students who display social skill deficits at school. They attend a public school in Illinois where over 60 percent of our population is low income. Our student population is diverse with approximately 45 percent of our population Black, 4 percent Hispanic, 5 percent Asian Pacific Islander, and 46 percent White. They are beautiful students who are eager and willing to learn new skills.
