As a special education educator we are mandated to document student progress, and it is a very challenging task for me when I do not have a portable computer that allows me to update student records. Often times, I am required and want to provide students with modifications or learning supports. Internet or computer support programs are vital for some learners. With a MacBook Pro which I can carry from one class to the next, I can meet my learners where they are to reach their goals. Many of my students need to hear or record material and a laptop can support their needs. A MacBook Pro is quick and accessible support for auditory and visual learners. My students need multiple colors and steps for each lesson broken down. When I plan my lesson, the graphic organizers can be color coded and visually easier to process new information. As a special education teacher who needs to float from one room to the other across three grades throughout the day, a MacBook Pro is crucial to provide differentiated instruction and updated record keeping. Your donations will benefit everyone in a classroom. Your donations will also enhance my instructional delivery.
