Explore, Investigate and Discover Science Fun!
Funded Dec 14, 2010Thank you so much for the generous gift you have given my students. The children are going to learn about helping the environment and planting things to help the Earth. Each child will have their own plant now to observe and watch. They will learn about how a seed turns into a plant and than a fruit or vegetable.
They were so excited to know that they will be like the big kids and doing science experiments. They know they will get to explore and investigate and have fun doing it.
I want to thank you for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to learn with their own material and with great lessons that will last forever.”

Funded Dec 17, 2010One day my students will look back at their journals and see where they learned to write for the first time . A journal is a great tool to use to show progress in the writing and drawings and you provided my students with this opportunity.
Thank you so much for the generous gift of the writing materials, shoes and more. You have given my students tools to help them be independent , even at five years old.
They were so excited to open the boxes of these supplies and discover they each would get their own materials and there were enough shoes for a few kids to use.. You should have seen their faces.
I want to thank you for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to learn independence and creativity.”

Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!
Funded Dec 31, 2010For years I have been taking my students to the school library , where they would look through old Zoobooks. Our Zoobooks were ripped, missing pages and ready for the trash. My students would sit in the library looking at the pictures, sharing them with me and reading basic words. Now the children will not have to wait two weeks to read these as we have a whole set for our classroom. I can't wait to teach the children all about the amazing animals on our planet. I know I will learn along with the children.
My children will learn another reason why it is so important to protect our environment. Thank you so much for the generous gift you have given my students.
They were so excited to see all the magazines and they wanted to read them all.. You should have seen their faces.
I want to thank you for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to have material I could never have provided for my students.

Funded Dec 29, 2010For strangers to give to students you do not know, to me is unbelievable. What a great message you are sending the children. I hope some day we can all pay it forward. You are teaching my students to help others in need.
The children were so excited to see the boxes arrive. Once we opened the puppets they wanted to play with them right away. The strange voices they were making, the energy and creativity they showed had my jaw dropped. I have a few very shy children and yet behind the puppets they were active, vocal and creative. I can't wait to teach them all the stories that go with the puppets, so they can retell them to others. Someday one of them will win an Academy Award or a Tony Award and know you played a part in that.
I want to thank you for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to learn in the creative way and in a way that will help develop a stronger self-esteem for many.
In all the years I have taught I have never had puppets for the children. They have always been to expensive for me to purchase. Thank you for allowing me to add this important element to my classroom.”

Funded Dec 22, 2010Thank you so much for the generous gifts you have given my students.
We have been so limited in our ART and math studies , due to lack of supplies and material. I have been having children share boxes of 8 crayons and have not been able to do projects due to lack of supplies. Now I can have fun planning exciting projects for the children that help teach important skills.
Math is taught basically with a workbook or online now. In order to learn the children needed material to try hands on. Your generous gift has really offered the children more opportunities than I could ever have. .
I want to thank you for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to learn in the creative way that they desire and are able to be five year olds and have fun with paints, glue, paper and more.
In this economy, my school is facing a budget crisis and cannot afford the extras. If I could, I would purchase these additional supplies, but unfortunately I cannot. I try to purchase all I can, but with the furlough days it really has had an impact on what I can get for my students. You took a great stress off of me and I truly appreciate it.”

Funded Dec 5, 2010Thank you so much for the generous gift you have given my students. Seeing their little faces when they saw all the boxes was indescribable.
We were all so excited to open the boxes of the Leapfrogs and batteries or not they wanted to try them. Now as soon as we are done with anything the children want to use the Leapfrogs to practice their reading.
I want to thank you for giving my students this wonderful opportunity to learn in the fun ways and with material they may never have gotten to experience.
The children are the future and they should get a great education with a lot of materials, even in this hard economical times. Thank you for letting my students know how important they are.”
