• Take a Look... It's In a Book or Treehouse

  The adventure of Annie and Jack and my 19 students will continue thanks to your kindness. They really need this escape and now with weeks of state testing lingering they need this even more. I was so happy to tell the children and parents today we will be getting the books. Thank you so much for helping these kiddos love to read and turn off a screen”

• More Reading Adventures With Jack and Annie

  My students just now got surprised by the books. I held them until they just finished the fourth book. They had been disappointed they were all done with Jack and Annie. And now they have four more for when they return from vacation. They are so excited to go on adventures. These books have really helped my students read with feeling, emotion and have helped their fluency. They can not wait for what will happen next. The books really made the children feel like readers for the first time. Something that interested them and really helped build their fluency.

  "I like the books because I enjoy that they have pictures, so I can see what is going on". Carmen

  " I like the books they are so interesting and it describes what is happening in the story" Lonie

  " Jack and Annie go in the tree house and they go on field trips and places I won't go" I feel like I am on the field trip with them".

  " I feel like I am on a new adventure and I can't wait to see what happens next"

  Thank you so much for the next four books. This helps our parents out too. Only a few parents were able to purchase the first four for us. Some kids had them and some did not. I was only able to purchase for a few. It will be so nice now that all have the same books and the same versions.”

• A Carpet Is A Must In 1st Grade

  Today has been one of the hardest days of my life. I said goodbye to my mom today. I was finally trying to breath and logged in. When I did I saw my project got funded. It's weird but a new rug could be a new start to the next few years. The last few have been rough .

  I am in tears. Wow! You really brightened up a very stressful week. When you see the words Funded its the same as BINGO or winning the lottery.

  The unknown of the virus and returning to school had been a lot. Having the opportunity now for a small group to work, while I help another is huge. My goal someday is to have the kids 1 on 1 again in the class. This is a huge leap to this goal. Thank you so much.”

  With distance learning new to all of us, this tool is so important and so needed. Now we do not have to create everything from scratch. We can find interactive programs, slide shows, lessons and google docs to help our students learn.
