Making Their Own Magazines
Funded Apr 9, 2023Thank you so much for your donation to our project in which our kids learned how to bind the magazines they created for Language Arts class in the Spring.
They had a good time creating the various components of the magazine, such as puzzles and pictures. They also included their writing about an issue in the world, which they researched. Being able to bind the final product really made their finished product look professional, and they can hold on to these for a long time!
It's motivating and inspiring for kids to be able to have a final product that means more to them than just another five paragraph essay. Thank you for helping make this project more real for them! And, of course, we'll still have these materials for future classes to use as well.”

Adult Tricycles for the Kids!
Funded Mar 16, 2023I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to River Springs Charter School. Your support means the world to us and makes a significant difference in the daily lives of our students.
Your kindness and generosity have allowed us to purchase an additional two adult tricycles for the kids. Your contribution brings positive change to the lives of our students. They are enjoying using them to blow off steam and get exercise both during PE and recess times. As I am sure you know, physical activity supports brain stimulation and promotes better learning.
We deeply appreciate your commitment to our cause and your belief in our work. Your donation is a testament to your compassion and the positive change that can result from a single act of kindness.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Mission Tiger and 4 other donors.Keeping the Air Clean for the Kids
Funded Jan 22, 2022Thank you again for your help achieving our goal of getting some really functional and attractive organizational containers for the classroom art supplies.
We also got three air purifiers- one for each classroom. They were advertised to be able to clean COVID germs, so we keep those on regularly. With all of the coughs and sneezes from all the kids, it's nice to know we have something to help protect the kids and staff.
I am genuinely so grateful for the generosity of our families and friends who have donated this year. What a thrill to be able to have our wish list filled so quickly.”

Private Creative Expression for our Kids' Developing Minds
Funded Sep 14, 2021Thank you again so much for your donation to our classroom a few months ago. I apologize for the late completion of this thank you note.
The kids are really grateful to have the new art materials, which they've used for countless projects in all classes. I don't have pictures of work here. I am hoping they do bring some of their projects home for you to see, though.
I am sharing some silly pictures of the kids with our lovely new file cabinet. They posed, as you may be able to tell. They are very grateful to be able to leave at least their Writer's Notebooks here in the class and know that they are locked up safely. Also, our classroom looks much better with updated furniture.”
