  • A Quiet Place

    I would like to thank you for your generous donations. Words can't describe how appreciative I am for the support in purchasing noise canceling headphones for my class. These students were thrown into this virtual learning model without the proper tools to help them thrive.

    Many of my students live in apartments or small houses with multiple family members which makes it hard for them to concentrate. Having these noise canceling headphones as an additional resource makes a world of a difference.

    Upon handing out the headphones to my students the room was filled with smiles. One student was so thankful and excited that they cried. Parents have reached out to me thanking me personally for the headphones. I, in turn, said it's not me you need to thank it is the amazing donors who really made this happen!

Our elementary classes meet one day per week for in person learning for our blended students. All of our students receive online lessons via Zoom with a teacher and teacher's assistant. Our attendance is high and our students are doing the best they can to learn throughout this challenging time.
 Noise canceling headphones will help our students achieve a successful, peaceful learning environment free from distractions at home while learning virtually during the pandemic.
 Some of our student's homes are small with multiple children living in the household. It sometimes seems as if our students are very distracted by the ongoing sounds of other children, family members, televisions, computers, pets, and assorted other loud distractions. These headphones would ensure our students success and less learning loss.
