For the last 8 years I have been teaching Kindergarten and PreK. Therefore, all of my materials, especially in reading are based off of these skills and standards. While some of things that I have will be usable, I will also need to upgrade a number of classroom items. Books are one of the main things that I will need to upgrade as reading levels in PreK and K are very different from 2nd grade. I am excited for the challenge of a new grade and look forward to returning to my old school, but recognize the need for many new materials to meet my students' needs. The books range from grade levels 1 to 3 which will help me to differentiate reading instruction based on each student's level. The phonics boxes will be used in conjunction with phonics center boxes I have now, but will provide some more grade level appropriate center options.
