My students need books to read. Novels like "Harry Potter" and "The Hate You Give" will peak their interest and keep them reading. I keep telling them the more they read the smarter they will be! These books will give them choice in their selections and diversify the genres they can choose from in my classroom. Reading will expand their minds and put opportunity in their hands! I am confident that when they start to see the selections in class, that it will push them to expand their reading base and learn and grow as readers. Reading creates great success!
